sigh - time really really flies. pop's over; but the impact hasn't really hit me yet. [i haven't even started feeling depressed. but i know i will. sooner or later.]
maybe because chalet was super fun; but omg it was so sad too. it was kinda different from last year's. [but maybe i shouldnt judge, seeing that i left early last year and missed out on so much ):] like last year i was all emo and everything but this year we actually had our fun moments; we had our happy times; we had our enjoyable games and all. [haha even if i say so - i helped with the games]
but still, the fun moments are but flimsy facades for the fact that the ma'ams are gna be leaving us already. as much as i'd like it to be that there wouldn't have to be farewells, it's just not possible. it's too idealistic. and well, the 3 years that we have together have almost come to an end.
it's only been once or twice that it's actually dawned on me that they'll be leaving already; leaving us for greener pastures out there. that they'll be gone, just like that.
and i worry too. im scared that i wont be able to take the responsibility. [i am in 2 excos, after all] im scared that i wont be able to live up to the expectations placed on me. im scared that after they're gone, we'll be all alone. im just scared.
farewells always seem like a flurry to me, but this one's exceptionally so. maybe because it's been so fast that 3 years are over; that we're going to be leading the unit all on our own already, when i don't even feel that im ready for that. but i guess there's always a time for us to grow up, and this is it. actually, every pop is a time to grow up.
when i got my post last year, i almost flipped. it wasnt one that i wanted. in fact, it was one that most didnt want. i'd have given a lot to not get that post. and i'd thought it wasn't fair to the rest anyway, because i did have an advantage over most. but i've thought through it for the past year, and i accept it. someone has to take this post anyway, and since i've developed a passion for it, im glad to have it this year. thanks for this opportunity, and for making me love rcv (:

meanwhile. presents! took a super long time to upload photos x_x but it's worth it (: [haha i very smartly forgot to bring my camera there D: so i only have pictures of my wonderfullll presents but i'll try to steal some from year photobucket another time! :D]
